Connect Your Application
Visit Connected Applications on the sidebar. Click on the Connect button for Azure DevOps. The Connect button will present two options to integrate Valven Atlas into the Azure DevOps account; OAuth and Access Token.
OAuth
When OAuth is selected to establish the communication between Valven Atlas and Azure DevOps, a new page will open where Valven Atlas will request read-only permissions to complete the connection. Click "Accept" to give the permissions and start the communication between Valven Atlas and Azure DevOps.
Important Note: Final Check
From the left bottom side of the main Azure DevOps page, open Organization Settings. It is crucial to ensure that the Third-party option is enabled on the Policies page under the Security Section.
Access Token
- Sign in to your organization
- From your home page, open user settings and select "Personal access tokens".
- Select + New Token.
- Name your token, select "All accessible organizations", and then set your token to expire automatically after 1 year at least.
- Choose the desired scopes. (Work Items, Code, Build, Release, Project and Team)
Step 2: On Valven Atlas, after clicking on the Access Token option, please fill your Access Token field with the Token you can take from your Azure platform
Verifying the Connection
After completing the permission step, you should be redirected to the Valven Atlas Connected Apps.
Being redirected to the Valven Atlas Connected Apps screen with the 'Connected' label at the top, the project name, and the disconnect icon in your Azure Repos section indicates that Valven Atlas integration to your Azure DevOps is completed successfully.
