Step 2: After authorization, you will be redirected to Valven Atlas, in case you wish to add another Git or issue repository.
Step 3: Add a new project or include your repositories into an existing Project. For details, click here.
API Token
The other method to establish communication between Valven Atlas and the Jira Cloud is through the Jira API Token.
Step 1: After clicking on the API Token option, please fill your Atlassian URL, Email, and API Token fields with;
- Your Atlassian URL
- The Email Address registered in your JIRA platform
- The Token you can take from your JIRA platform
Step 2: Please proceed to https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens and click on the Create API token button to get an API Token. Save the API token with the name Valven Atlas.
Step 3: Take note of the generated App Token after clicking on the Create button.
Verifying the Connection
In both options, you should be redirected to the Valven Atlas Connected Apps screen after completing the actions explained in this document.
Being redirected to the Valven Atlas Connected Apps screen with the 'Connected' label at the top, the project name, and the disconnect icon in your Jira section indicates that Valven Atlas integration to your Jira Cloud is completed successfully.
Your repositories in the JIRA can be associated with Valven Atlas to analyze the Issue Management data of your respective projects to provide extensive insights and highlight the areas to improve.
