Introducing Two-Factor Authentication

One of the key aspects that drive us at Valven is the care and value we give to the security measures. With this vision in mind, we are constantly working to provide additional security measures for our customers to keep their Valven accounts. 

We are thrilled to announce a robust and simplified Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) feature at Valven. Putting your safety as a priority we are offering you a (2FA) option and strongly advise you to enable this feature. 

What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security beyond your password. It removes the dependency of your Valven account to not just something you know which is your password but also something you have which is a one-time email authentication code. By enabling 2FA, our users would ensure that even if their password is compromised, their account remains secure by keeping the second step private to themselves.

How to Enable 2FA in Valven

Enabling Two-Factor Authentication at your Valven account is simplified. 

• Log in to your Valven account.
• Navigate to your account menu by clicking on your profile.
• Open Settings in the account menu.
• Select Company Settings 
• Enable the Two-Factor Authentication option

Next time you wish to authenticate to Valven we will send you an email with a 6-digit code that has 15 minutes of expire period. You will be asked to register your one-time code as a second step of the authentication cycle.
