Overview
The Gamification feature allows teams to be assigned performance targets (goals) and tracks how well these teams meet those targets over time. It promotes continuous improvement by quantifying performance through scores and visualizing goal achievements.
Key Concepts
Goal Set
A goal set is a collection of one or more goals assigned to one or more teams. Each goal set contains:
Name: A descriptive title for the goal set.
Start Date: The start of the goal set period. Note: It cannot be set in the past.
End Date: The end of the goal set’s active duration.
Period: Defines how often performance is evaluated. Options are:
Daily
Weekly
Monthly
Quarterly
Target Ratio: The minimum score ratio required for a team to be considered successful in a given period.
Example: If a goal set contains goals 10 points in total, and the target ratio is set to 80%, then the team needs to earn at least 8 points in each period to be considered successful.
Note: Goal sets are evaluated starting from the end of the day on the defined start date. Once a goal set has started being evaluated, key properties (start date, period, goals) cannot be changed.
To create a goalset, navigate to the Gamification screen and click the "Create Goal Set" button.
Goals
Each goal within a goal set must have a point value. The sum of all goal points in a goal set determines the total score a team can earn during the period.
Goals are tracked individually, and progress is scored based on actual performance.
Assigning Goal Sets
You can assign the same goal set to multiple teams.
Each team’s performance is evaluated independently based on the same goal criteria.
Goal sets are active for their defined time range, and scoring is recalculated at each period boundary (daily/weekly/etc.).
Goal Set Detail Screen
On the Goal Set Detail Screen, you can view:
Per-Goal Success: How each team performed on individual goals during the latest period.
Per-Team Success: Each team’s overall success ratio for the latest period.
These views help team leads and managers track which goals are being met and which teams are consistently performing well.
Historical Performance
You can also view historical success charts that show performance over time:
Per-Goal History: See how a specific goal has been achieved across different periods.
Per-Team History: Track how each team has performed over the course of the goal set.
Overall History: View total success trends across all goals and all teams.
This feature enables continuous evaluation and improvement by providing visibility into long-term goal attainment.
