Connect Your Application
Visit Connected Applications on the sidebar. Based on your deployment either select Bitbucket or Bitbucket/App Password under Git Providers and click Connect.
Bitbucket Integration
Step 1: You will be redirected to Bitbucket where you will need to authorize access to your organization.
Step 2: After authorization, you will be redirected to Valven Atlas, in case you wish to add another Git or issue repository.
Step 3: Add a new project or include your repositories into an existing Project. For details, click here.
Bitbucket/App Password Integration
Step 1: After Clicking on the Connect for Bitbucket/App Password, please provide your Bitbucket username to the username field and the token you get from Bitbucket to the App password field.
You can check your username at the address of https://bitbucket.org/account/settings/.
Step 2: In order to create the App password on Bitbucket, proceed to https://bitbucket.org/account/settings/app-passwords/ address. Click on the App Password button then define the name as Valven Atlas, select the same permissions as shown in the visual below and save.
Step 3: Take note of the App password value you get after you click on the Create button.
If you are redirected to the Valven Atlas Connected Apps screen, it means you have successfully completed the integration of your Bitbucket into Valven Atlas.
Now, you should see the Connected label and the name of your project under the Bitbucket or Bitbucket/App Password section.
Your repositories in the Bitbucket can be associated with Valven Atlas to analyze the Git data of your respective projects to provide extensive insights and highlight the areas to improve.
